Our Mission is to become faithful followers of Christ and thus active Greek Orthodox Christians by accepting and submitting to the Will of our Lord so that we may realize salvation and enter into the Kingdom of God. With the Grace of God, to provide a loving and caring Community where all belong to Christ, through worship, sacramental life, everyday spiritual discipline, sanctification, education, witness and fellowship.

It was a joyful weekend at Holy Trinity as we celebrated Pentecost and the Feast of the Holy Spirit. Our Panegyri was blessed with perfect weather, delicious food, and lots of ice cream, and our Philoptochos lovingly hosted a beautiful reception following Monday’s Divine Liturgy, where we were blessed to worship with clergy and faithful from our sister parishes.

May the grace of the Holy Spirit continue to guide and strengthen us. Χρόνια Πολλά!

Continuing our series: Questions with Father!

Each week, Father answers a question from our youth as we explore the Orthodox faith, deepen our understanding of the life of the Church, and see how our faith guides us in everyday life.

This week’s question: Can you explain how the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are all separate but one?

——————

Hello all, with such an important topic I wanted to make a few refinements to what I said.

*the Father is the source (arche) and cause (aitia) of the Son and the Spirit.

* but the divine essence is fully and equally possessed by all three Persons eternally.

*the Son is eternally true God

*the Spirit is eternally true God

*never “less than” or derivative in a temporal or ontological sense.

*The Father eternally communicates the one divine essence to the Son through generation and to the Spirit through procession.

*The three Persons share one divine will eternally.

Vision Through Faith 2050 (VTF) is Holy Trinity’s strategic planning initiative, established by our Proistamenos to guide our long-term vision. By developing a comprehensive plan informed with parishioner input, we craft a blueprint that aligns ministries, facilities and resources across all campuses. This process ensures growth that is thoughtful, phased and sustainable over time and future generations.
