We hope that this page gives you a great look into our ministry and all that God is doing here at CENTRAL YTH. Our ministry is simple… we love God, we love life, and we love people. We are all about seeing students discipled in God’s Word, empowered to preach the Gospel in every sphere of life, and given opportunity to use their gifts and talents inside and outside the church. If you’re a part of

our ministry then you already know that we value worship, prayer, and the teaching of God’s Word; but if you’re new here, you can expect to experience those things at every one of our worship experiences. We’re starting something new in Central YTH High School—a monthly focus on knowing God’s Word.

Each month, we’ll choose a new book of the Bible to read together and new Scriptures to memorize.

September:
📖 Read: Gospel of Matthew

🥊 FAITHFUL FIGHTERS 🗡️
Temptation is a battle, but we don’t fight alone.

Jesus showed us how to fight in Matthew 4: walk confidently in your identity as a new creation in Christ Jesus and wield the Word of God.

As new creations in Christ, we need to know who we are and become master swordsmen with the Sword of the Spirit.

Just like a young Maasai warrior must master his sword, we must train with God’s Word until we’re ready to use it when the battle comes.

📖 Challenge: Memorize Psalm 119:9–11 this week.

Lord, we pray Your blessing over this new school year! 🙏📚
As our students, their families, and their teachers begin this new year, may You:

✨ Encourage them when they feel nervous or uncertain.
✨ Remind them that through the power of Your Spirit, we can do all things—even hard things.
✨ Remind them that Your Spirit is with us wherever we go—even in the darkest places.
✨ Help them shine the light of Jesus in a world desperate for truth.

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. May His light shine brightly through each of us this school year. 💡
