Pillars Mosque Pillars Mosque, formerly known as MCC. With the help and participation of Charlotte Muslims, the MCC shall be an open organization receptive to all.

The Muslim Community Center of Charlotte shall be, with Allah's help, the first full Islamic Center in the University Area. Its mission is to develop the American Muslim identity according to the teachings of the Holy Quran and lofty example of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). To build a community united by faith across all ethnic backgrounds with the primary goal of integrating with American culture and collaborating with others to promote a morally upright society.

Pillars Mosque Community Street Cleanup Video Recap

Pillars Mosque participated in the City of Charlotte’s Adopt-A-Street program through House Charlotte and Neighborhood Services by adopting Johnston Oehler Road, the street located in front of the mosque.

As part of this community initiative, Pillars organized a neighborhood street cleanup on July 12 from 6:00–8:00 PM. The event brought community members together to help maintain and improve the cleanliness of the surrounding neighborhood.
