Roof Above's Day Services Center kitchen was badly damaged in the July storms and remains closed. That means our unhoused neighbors are missing meals they'd normally count on — and we want to help fill the gap.

LOC Missions is packing 100 bag lunches, and we need your help to do it. We're looking for food donations and volunteers to make sandwiches and assemble lunch bags.

A few highlights happening this week: (Sept 1-6):

Wed, Sept 2 — Midweek Meet-up Kickoff, 5:30-7:30 PM. Calling all elementary, middle, and high schoolers — small groups, games, and dinner. Bring a friend!

Thurs, Sept 3 — Tech Training, 7-9 PM. Learn the soundboard, ProPresenter, and cameras — whether you're already serving or just curious.

Sun, Sept 6 — Extending the Table: bring canned chicken for our Backpack Ministry. Plus Reclaiming Wholeness, a new Grow Group starting at 9:30 AM in Room 104.

Last Sunday, we celebrated our Cross Connection summer staff — young people who spent the summer serving neighbors across our community. Pastor Marianne shares one story from the summer that stuck with her: a hard, honest conversation that ended with a neighbor choosing, on his own, to take down a Confederate flag.
