Clinton Chapel AME Zion Church Founded in 1810, Clinton Chapel carries a rich legacy that spans over 2 centuries. Pastor: Dr. Ralph Williamson

Our history is deeply rooted in Biblical teachings, and we continue to build upon that foundation with a passion for sharing God’s love. Clinton Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church is the mother church of the AME Zion in Charlotte. It was founded in 1865 by Northern missionaries who moved westward across NC with the Union troops.
