Think you’re doing pretty good?

Try perfectly obeying just one of God’s commands for 24 hours. Control your temper. Speak kindly. Avoid pride. Forgive others. Love your enemies.

God’s law acts like a mirror. It shows us that no matter how hard we try, we cannot make ourselves righteous. Instead, it points us to how deeply we need Jesus and the cross.

God’s law is a gift because it keeps pointing us back to our Savior.

Family Worship Sunday was such a sweet time together as a church family! Pastor Dave preached from Psalm 119 in a sermon titled “The Gospel & God’s Law,” looking at how God’s law is a gift that protects us, humbles us, and guides us as we follow Jesus.
