As we celebrate Mother’s Day this weekend, we recognize both the joy and the complexity this day can hold. It can be a time of gratitude and celebration but may also come with grief, longing, or difficult memories.
Wherever you find yourself today, we want you to know there is space for you here.
In honor of Mother’s Day, we’ve set up a letter-writing station in Crossroads this Sunday! We invite you to take a moment to write a note to someone who has been a maternal figure in your life. A mother, grandmother, mentor, teacher, friend, or anyone who has nurtured and cared for you. You’re also welcome to write to someone who is no longer with us. For letters that can’t be delivered, there will be a basket available as a way to honor and remember the women who have meant so much to us.
