Moore's Chapel UMC - Charlotte WHAT WE BELIEVE:

We believe in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We believe in the inspired Word of God as being Holy and infallible.

We believe that Jesus Christ is The Only Way, The Only Truth and The Only Life and that no man comes to the Father in any other way. We believe that all people are loved by God and that He desires to be in relationship with any and all who will repent of their sin and seek forgiveness. We believe that Jesus was born of a virgin, that he suffered and died on a cross to provide a way for our sins to

be forgiven and that through His blood both sin and death were defeated and if we surrender our lives to Him, we can live eternally. We believe that all people are equal in God’s eyes and should be in ours and that they should be welcomed and treated with love and respect regardless of race, gender, age or economic background. We believe that marriage is between one man and one woman and that the family is sacred and designed by God as the example of normality. We welcome anyone in our midst and in our services with the understanding that God’s Word will be preached and will be the measuring stick by which all things are measured.
