Theme: "The Importance of Prayer in Marriage." We are honored to welcome our special guest facilitators: Minister Dorothy Davis, Deaconess Lestina Potts, and members of the Intercessory Prayer Ministry. Come prepared for an inspiring and enriching time of fellowship, discussion, and spiritual growth as we explore the vital role of prayer in strengthening our marriages. Monday, July 20th – Friday, July 24th……..….. Vacation Bible School
The SMBC Vacation Bible School will be held Monday, July 20th- Friday, July 24th, from 6:45pm-9:00pm each evening. Theme: “Reigning with Purpose,” is based on 1 Peter 4:10. Together, we will focus on the gifts, talents, and resources God has entrusted to us and learn how to use them purposefully to serve others and glorify Him. If you would like to volunteer, please complete a form and return to an Usher or church office by Sunday, June 21st. Attention All Married Couples! Join us for the Bone of My Bone, Flesh of My Flesh Marriage Enrichment Ministry Retreat, August 6–9, 2026, in Myrtle Beach, SC. Attention All Men!! We will be gathering at Hickory K**b State Park in South Carolina. Dates: Friday evening, September 25th, through Sunday morning, September 27th. Cost: $175.00 pp double occupancy. The deposit if $25.00 is due by Tuesday, June 30th. Final payment is due by Sunday, August 16th Please sign up after church in the front lobby.
