Sunday, September 6th.................... Election of Officers Forms
Today is the last day to submit your Election of Officers form. Please see an Associate Minister to oversee your election process. Forms are available on the table in the front vestibule and the box located outside the church office.
Sunday, September 6th .............................................. Men’s Choir Election
The Men’s Choir will meet today immediately following worship service to elect officers for 2027. The meeting will be held in the Sanctuary on the far-left side. All members are asked to attend.
SEPTEMBER.............................................................. Pastoral Care Ministry
The Pastoral Care Ministry “Healing the Hurt Within” is a faith based ministry that will meet Friday, September 11th & 25th from 11am–12pm. Saturday, September 12th .............................. Men’s Fellowship Meeting
All Men and Young Men are invited to join us for our monthly Men’s Fellowship meeting on Saturday September 12th from 8:30am–10:30am. This is a time for men to encourage one another, to nurture our spiritual growth and service within the family, church, and community. Help the fellowship grow, bring a friend! We are asking all current and newly elected officers to plan to attend the Auxiliary Leadership Training that will be held on Saturday, September 12th from 10am - 12pm in the Chapel. The purpose of this training is to help each auxiliary leader plan and prepare their 2027 SMBC budget. Thank you.

Meet Us Here!! Please join us as we come together beginning Monday, September 14th at 7:00pm for our book study, I Am a Church Member. We are excited to grow together through this study and fellowship. Each chapter will be led by a facilitator who will be prepared to teach, guide discussion, and help us gain a deeper understanding of the book’s message. We look forward to seeing you there as we learn, grow, and strengthen our commitment as members of the body of Christ!

We would like to extend a special invitation for you to worship with us as we celebrate our Missions Day on Sunday, September 20th at 9:45am. Theme: “One in Christ: United in Mission.” Our speaker for this special occasion will be Rev. Phil Watson. We are grateful for how God continues to bless us and for the opportunity to serve Him and advance His Kingdom through missions. Let’s strike up some fun on Saturday, October 17th from 12pm–2pm at Spare Time Entertainment, located at 9600 Pineville Matthews Rd., Pineville, NC 28134. Sunday, October 18th.................... 143rd Homecoming Celebration
Our 143rd Homecoming will be held on Sunday, October 18th. The theme: "Together Again, By God's Grace”. The speaker for this occasion will be Pastor D. Chandler Sanders of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Clover, SC. We are asking everyone to wear Purple, Black, Red and Gold for this service. You do not have to go purchase anything new if you don’t already have something in these colors, just wear what you have. We are also asking members to donate desserts and bring them to the fellowship hall before service. Dinner will be served after service. Please come and fellowship with us. Thank you!! Sis. Tina Jones
