Today we pause - not to perform, not to prove, but to remember.
Jesus came close.
Hope took on flesh.
Love entered the world without needing permission.

Whether today feels full or quiet, joyful or tender, you are not behind and you are not forgotten. Christmas reminds us that God meets us right where we are and invites us to rest in His presence.

“Thirsty people with impossible problems experience radical change.” 💧

We all get thirsty—but sometimes for the wrong things: likes, approval, control, or escape. And those thirsty thoughts? They shape our minds, our moods, and our choices.

But here’s the good news: when we thirst for the right things—God’s peace, truth, and love—radical change happens. 🙌🏾

Romans 8:37 reminds us: “In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”And 2 Timothy 1:7 says we can have a sound mind! 💫

HBV Summer Pop-Up | Rooted in Love 🌱

This past weekend was so special! We wrapped up our summer cycle with a beautiful Pop-Up in Charlotte, rooted in love, connection, and community. 💜

As we step into a new cycle, our leadership team gathered for retreat to dream, plan, and prepare for all that’s ahead. It was a powerful time of vision, collaboration, and anticipation for what God is doing through HBV.

We also celebrate a season of leadership transition:

Honoring Tianna Gregory and Keena Wilson for their hard work, dedication, and invaluable contribution to HBV. Your impact will always be felt!

Welcoming Ikaisha Johnson, Arsenial Robinson, and Kala Wilson to our leadership team! We’re so excited for the fresh energy and ideas you bring!

The HBV Pop-Up was amazing, and this leadership retreat reminded us that the best is truly yet to come. 💫

Hosea reminded us that even in rebellion, God still pursues, loves, and restores. 💔➡️💖

From Genesis to now, we’ve walked through battles, breakthroughs, prayers, and promises—and He keeps showing up in every chapter.
(And yes, some of us are reading it again and STILL getting new revelations! 👀✨)

Motherhood doesn’t pause after a holiday.
It’s a daily walk of love, strength, sacrifice, and grace.
And the truth remains: God has equipped you for every step of this journey.

You were never called to be perfect — you were called to be faithful.

We just finished our 10th book of the Bible—1 Samuel!
And let us tell you… this journey has been so rich. From Hannah’s prayer to David’s anointing and Saul’s fall—God is revealing layer after layer of His truth!

And guess what? It’s not too late to join us as we go through the entire Bible in a year!

This is my second time reading through it, and I’m seeing things I completely missed the first time. God’s Word is alive—and it hits differently when you’re walking through it in community!
