American Islamic Outreach

American Islamic Outreach Non-Muslims are hearing about Islam and Muslims through the media and the internet every day. Some have already formed their opinions, but many are curious.

American Islamic Outreach has been formed to present Islam to non-Muslims, starting with the Charlotte area, and then InshaAllah expanding regionally and beyond. American Islamic Outreach Foundation (AIO) is a new non-profit organization dedicated to Dawah, on a full-time basis, based in Charlotte, NC. It is already reaching out to all of the masajid in the Charlotte area to promote awareness and

plan its Dawah activities. They want to learn more about Islam and interact directly with local Muslims. However, they may not know or even be aware of Muslims in their day to day interactions with people. InshaAllah, we will achieve this objective through dedicated resources and multiple modes of communication and interaction with the local community:
• AmericanIslamicOutreach.org website and e-mail • Local address and local phone number
• Establish an office with dedicated employees
• Direct mailings by zip code
• Local advertising (newspaper, radio, TV, etc.)
• Coordination with local masajid for non-Muslim visitation • Interfaith outreach
• Dawah booths or tables at county fairs and local festivals
