We have the ability to do the things that please or do things that grieve Him ( 4:30).
There is a long laundry list of actions that aren’t pleasing to God, and if we’re not careful, avoiding them could turn into some sort of religious construct of .
That isn’t the way to please God.
The way to please God begins with recognizing who you are in , recognizing that you have the , and He will not leave you (Hebrews 13:5).
You aren’t alone, no matter what situation you face. You always have the Holy Spirit inside you comforting and guiding you. You have the ability to always do the things that please Him.
If you mess up, shake it off, turn away from it (repent), and start following the leading of the Holy Spirit again and doing the things that please Him.
