And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him. John 8:29

Life is choices (Joshua 24:15).

We have the ability to do the things that please or do things that grieve Him ( 4:30).

There is a long laundry list of actions that aren’t pleasing to God, and if we’re not careful, avoiding them could turn into some sort of religious construct of .

That isn’t the way to please God.

The way to please God begins with recognizing who you are in , recognizing that you have the , and He will not leave you (Hebrews 13:5).

You aren’t alone, no matter what situation you face. You always have the Holy Spirit inside you comforting and guiding you. You have the ability to always do the things that please Him.

If you mess up, shake it off, turn away from it (repent), and start following the leading of the Holy Spirit again and doing the things that please Him.

I do those things that are
pleasing in the sight of God.

He wants you to want Him. He conceals things so that you can search them out ( 25:2).

He reveals things that are mysteries to you through the (1 Corinthians 2:10).

It is through the Holy Spirit, Whom we have received, that God makes known to us the things that He has given us in Jesus.

These things are discerned spiritually and require us to receive from the Holy Spirit.

Spend time praying in the Holy Spirit. Spend time seeking God.

For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct Him? But we have the mind of .
1 2:16

There are two major components to having a Christ-like .

The first is renewing your mind ( 12:2) which comes by spending time in the Word and allowing it to transform your mind.

The world around you will almost always oppose the Word. Whatever you find yourself in will try to convince you that the Word of God is not true.

But as you fill up on the Word, your mind begins to be . You begin to see through the tricks of the enemy and the smokescreen of the world.

You will find that you are wiser and have greater than you did before. And you won’t be the only one who notices.

The second component is being persistent and to , being focused and alert, intentional, and doing it with an attitude of ( 4:2).

This is the practical application of a renewed mind, fervently and making tremendous power available, the power to the world around you.
