The women’s ministry will have a day of service on June 6th from 10:45-12:45 to volunteer together at Common Heart Food Pantry. Wear closed toe shoes! We will head out to lunch together afterward!
Common Heart seeks to eradicate food insecurity in Union County and we will help them sort donations or whatever else they may need that day. This will be a great time of fellowship and service together! Meet at Common Heart (116 Business Park Drive, Indian Trail, NC 28079).

After a long and prayerful process, we were pleased to offer Sidney Ssekimpi the job as our next youth minister…and she accepted! Those of you who met Sidney when she visited know that she exudes a passion and sincerity for sharing Jesus with teens. We’re thrilled that Sidney and her husband Mark will be moving to Charlotte to partner with us in ministry!

At the moment, we’re planning for Sidney to officially start in August!

Thank you for your prayers and patience throughout this process. We ask that you continue praying for our youth ministry and for the Ssekimpis as they prepare for the transition. Exciting days are ahead!

We are so excited to celebrate our graduating Seniors Sunday!
On Sunday morning, participating seniors will have a table set up in the lobby throughout the morning so you can visit with them and also drop any cards or gifts you may have. We will also spend some time honoring and praying over them as they enter a new season! Please plan to join us! Scroll through to see their photos and please join us in praying over them!

It's BACCCKKKKKKK. If you're looking for a great opportunity to get to know some new people in our church family, we hope you'll sign up for "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner". Guess Who's Coming to Dinner is like a platonic blind date. You can sign up to host dinner in your home, to attend at someone else's home, or to meet up at a public space like a park. You won't know who's coming until you get there!
As a staff, we will match you with people we think you'd enjoy getting to know. If you sign up to host, we will let you know a few days in advance how many people are coming and if there are any food allergies to be aware of. If you sign up to attend, we will simply give you an address and time.
We have done several rounds of "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" in our effort to "do table" and emphasize connectedness amongst our church family. We always hear amazing stories of how people are blessed and get to know some new people each time we engage in this way. This round will take place on May 29th and 30th. Giving through the end of the week will go to missions specifically so if you missed Sunday, it's not too late.
