A Mentoring Moment - Xander has been with FHL for a couple years. Annie E. Casey Foundation research shows that mentorship strengthens a child's trajectory. He closed last school year with Advanced Reading and Math Achievement awards. He's off to a strong start this year.

We have a new home! As many of you know, we recently hosted a fundraiser to support the program. Behind the scenes, we have been transitioning into a new facility as well.

We lost not one mentor amidst the summer transition and gained a few new mentors and children to the roster too.

Pray for us, the children, and the mentors as we start another year of serving families through mentoring.

FHL's 1-on-1 Mentoring starts back up next week! Last semester, we counted 656 hours of volunteer support.. an incredible blessing
