Dear Family and Friends,
There is a young christian boy in India named Karteek that is in great need right now. He stays at an orphanage we have helped many times over the past 14 years, called Our Fathers Home.
I have traveled there myself several times and spent weeks at a time with the host family. On one of my trips to India I brought my wife and daughter as well.
This is an emergency appeal to help this young boy who has has just suffered a life threatening infection.
Now he faces a different battle — an overwhelming hospital bill. Karteek had to spend 28 days in the hospital. They do not have insurance like we are fortunate enough to have here in the USA. In india there is no middle class, you only have the rich and the extreemly poor. Over the past 14 years we have helped with many things, such as blankets, mattresses, coats, clothes, and food as well as helped with some building materials for the orphanage.
If you can only know how much the couple who operate this orphage has sacrificed to help any where from 25 to 46 children at a time. If you can only imagine how feeding over 40 mouths on a daily basis is a great expense in itself. This orphanage has no religious funding or governmental assistance of any kind. In fact the government does not support any kind of Christian organizations in India at all. The major religion is Hindu and christians are persecuted and have been killed by the exremist groups of both the Hindu and Muslim Religions.
Karteek is a normal young boy that loves sports, especially soccer, and he works hard in school to learn.

Not long ago, Karteek got a small cut that didnt seem that bad at first. It was just a small wound but it developed into a severe staph infection. The illness spread quickly and threatened both his arm and his life. The orphanage leaders prayed and chose to admit him to the local hospital. Doctors treated him for over three weeks and finally performed surgery on the infected area. Their quick action saved his life.
By God’s grace, Karteek recovered and has now returned to Our Father’s Home orphanage. In many parts of India, hospitals will keep patients until their bills have been paid, making their hospital stay now some what of a jail sentence. Fortunately Karteek received permission to leave and is now with the other children and caregivers who supported him through prayer. A deep scar will remain on his arm, but it also tells a story of healing and faith. The hospital bill is still a heavy debt that must be paid. I’m pleading for your help financially.
As I said before, I personally know the family that runs this Orphanage. They are good godly people that love Jesus and want to raise these children in a godly manner. Please consider donating to help with medical expenses or maybe you would also consider helping with food, clothing or school supplies. The need is great and your help can make a difference.
If you would like to donate to help you can write a check to our ministry, Faith Mission Ministries, 100% of all funds received goes directly to help feed, clothe, educate, and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Faith Mission Ministries is a 501c3 Organization that we started in 2009 and has helped projects in Dominican Republic, Kenya Africa, India, and the Philippines. Write Your Story
The Psalmist David said in Psalms 90:9 "For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told." The Apostle Paul said we "... are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart." (2 Corinthians 3:3) What is your heart story telling? Is it giving excuses why you cannot serve God, or maybe a sob story of your troubles and trials or is it declaring the beauty of God's grace? Publishing day is almost here...and your ending will be decided when that last trumpet sounds. It's a new year, a new day, a second chance. What will you do with your story?

”but they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.“
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭40‬:‭31‬ ‭

“Be who God meant you to be and you will set the world on fire.”

(St Catherine of Siena)

but they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

God doesn't need an Army to guarantee a win, all He needs is a few good men.

”And David said to Saul, Let no man's heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine.“
‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭17‬:‭32‬ ‭

”Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.“
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭6‬:‭8‬ ‭

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

I just love it when the God takes control and messes up man's plans! We think we have everything planned out and just perfect and God says "That's not what I want, you don't see what I see, you don't know what I know!" Yes I serve a great big AWESOME God!! Have your way Lord and let your will be done!

Revelation 21:4 "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." Many things down here I do not understand, but it does not change the fact the Bible is still true, there is a heaven and there is a hell, Jesus is still saves and he still heals. My faith is not in what I can see BUT in what I cannot see! God does not play games, He says what He means and means what He says. Life is short and only what is done for Jesus Christ will last. Until then I may weep a tear now, but my JOY comes in the morning!

Imagine with me that someone would deposit into your bank account at the beginning of the day $86,400 for that day. The stipulation is you have to spend every cent of it within 24 hours. On the next morning you are given another $86,400. Wow you would be so excited! What would you buy? Who would you help? Would you spend it all on yourself? Remewmber you cannot carry any over the next day. Oh, one thing I forgot to tell you, the man that deposits that money into you account can any time say "Game over" and withdraw everything from your account. Now how will you spend your money? You say that is ridicules? Well her is how it really works. Every day God has given you 86,400 seconds. He wants you to be careful how you spend it. How will you spend yours? Invest it wisely for you will give an account to God for every second!

Ephesians 4:29 "Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers."
Lord let me guard my tongue, that I may not say anything out of spite, vengeance, railing, or bitterness.
"Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer." Psalm 19:14

There is a land not too far away where a Mighty King lives. His street is gold, His gates are pearl, His throne is jasper, there flows a river crystal clear and a tree that bears twelve manner of fruit. He is planning a banquet and invited me. He is not sending His servant to pick me up, but He is coming to take me on a plain air ride! I don't know the the day or the hour...but I am ready to go at a trumpets notice! How about you?

2 Corinthians 1:12 "For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward."
"Simplicity and godly sincerity" - does not sound like the modern church today. While on a mission trip recently to a third world country, I noticed the passion for Christ they had. They did not have air conditioned buildings, padded pews, lights or projection screens. There were no carpeted floors, stained glass windows and heated baptistries. They either brought their own chair, or sat on the ground. They praised the Lord for what seemed like hours. Their tears falling to the ground were absorbed into the dry dirt floor. When the Word was preached they sat with their Bibles open soaking in every word they heard. When it was time to pray for the sick everyone believed they would receive from God, and they did. When the service ended they did not rush out but lingered in the presence of the Lord. Many would then have to walk miles to get home, for they were too poor to afford any transportation. We are so proud of our programs and possessions that we have become dependent on them to hear from God. What if we lived a more simple life, would we use our time worshipping God or wishing for more things to make our life easier? Just a thought.
