New Adult Study! "Songs of Summer" Begins this Sunday!

Sundays beginning June 14, 9:00-10:00 a.m., McQueen Room or Zoom - An eight-week series exploring familiar Presbyterian hymns and the fascinating stories behind them. Each week, we will look at the history and meaning of a beloved hymn, connect it to Scripture, and share in thoughtful discussion about what these songs mean to us personally and spiritually. Whether these hymns are lifelong favorites or brand new to you, come enjoy conversation, reflection and music together this summer. Led by SMPC members Gayle and Curt Ireland! Register on Realm!

"Created for Community" is a summer series where we'll highlight communities founded or built by connections at SMPC. We are so grateful for the many ways our church comes together to form community! Look for features bi-monthly this summer.

First up: Read about two recent college graduates who found connection through SMPC!

Thank you to everyone who completed a Congregational Assessment Tool (CAT) survey! As of our deadline last Friday, we received 420 completed surveys, which means we EXCEEDED our goal! We celebrated with delicious ice cream after worship on Sunday (thank you, Mission Study Task Force!).

Next Steps: The MSTF and the Session are meeting with the consultants on July 7 to go through their analysis of our results. Then the MSTF will share a summary of those results with the entire congregation. The MSTF will then sponsor a series of discussion sessions where the congregation can join and discuss the survey results and their vision for the future of SMPC.

Is your preschooler ready for more social interaction and challenging activities? If so, we have an engaging preschool right here in the familiar setting of SMPC! Established in 1993, our half-day preschool is a gem recommended to parents by neighbors, friends and colleagues. We have a few space remaining in our 2s, 3s, and 4/TK classes this fall.
