🙏 A quick update on the Active Survival Training scheduled for May 8.

We were not able to reach the minimum number of participants needed to hold the training, so we have made the difficult decision to cancel this session. If you registered, you should have already received a notice directly.

We know this is disappointing, and we are grateful for everyone who signed up and spread the word. Your commitment to community safety means so much to us.

This Friday, May 8, Galilee hosts a FREE two-hour Active Survival Training, open to all community members. This course equips participants with practical, option-based survival skills, with no hands-on scenarios and no surprises.

Skills learned here translate to any setting: a workplace, a school, a place of worship, a shopping mall.

Our volunteers are not helpers at the margins, they are the heart of Galilee. Whether greeting neighbors at the front desk, stocking pantry shelves, or tending the garden, every hour of service is an act of shared abundance. ❤️

We’re seeking Front Desk Greeters for these shifts:
🔵 Monday 1 – 3 pm
🔵 Tuesday 12 – 2 pm
🔵 Wednesday 10 am – 12 pm, 12 – 2 pm, 2 – 4 pm
🔵 Thursday 12 – 2 pm, 2 – 4 pm

What we need right now:
🥛 Shelf-stable milk
🍓 Strawberry or grape jelly
🧂 Granola bars
🍝 Canned pasta (e.g., ravioli)
🥒 Peanut butter crackers & regular crackers
🧻 Toilet paper & paper towels

🚫 Avoid glass containers if possible
✨ Pop-top cans are especially helpful
⏰ Drop off Mon–Thu, 10 am – 3 pm
