The Pool of All Religion

The Pool of All Religion A place for people of all religions or lack there of where they will be respected and encouraged to espouse their views.

A page dedicated to exploring the similarities of all faiths, theologies, religions, and sciences with the goal of bringing the world together as humans, no longer dissenting sects. The key to the page is in the comparing and contrasting of these views to find the similarities, differences, and possible concessions, aiming to help all see that we can worship different entities or disavow all relig

ions and still hold complete love and respect for all humans as a family. You needn't like your family, but you must love them.

To the ancient Celts Samhain was the official end of summer. The mystical hag of winter, Cailleach Bheure, began her reign. It was a time where beginnings and ends meet and the veil between worlds opened up.
To ward of angry spirits, the Celts carved faces on turnips and other available root vegetables. These eventually became the pumpkin Jack O' Lanterns that we are more familiar with. And Samhain merged with All Saint's Day to become Halloween.

According to Orphism, Phanes (Love) emerged from nothing and shaped all planes of existence. It is a reminder that without love there can be no creation. If love is removed from the equation then the answer is always destruction.

No matter what you believe, take this from Orphism - love is the most powerful creative force and, as such, hate is the most powerful destructive force.
Be mindful what forces you choose to shape your world.

Religion should always have its roots in love. Thanks to Jena Fogle English for this

When an engaged couple calls off the wedding, it is usually a time of sadness and anger. But one family in Atlanta found a way to turn a terrible situation into a beautiful one. Carol and Willie Fowler's daughter Tamara was set to get married at the Villa Christina catering hall, when the wedding wa...

One Elder of the Mormon church in my area to me this: whatever the faith, it is not stairs to the top on one trajectory but a spiral staircase. You will continually end up in a place you have already been, but as you choose or are faithfully obligated to understand it as truthfully as you still continue to climb upward. Halfway up a mountain, looking.up the top seems impossibly far off, but if you look behind you, you'll see how far you've already come. This a wise thought for all spiritual people to contemplate.

“God can be realized through all paths. All religions are true. The important thing is to reach the roof. You can reach it by stone stairs or by wooden stairs or by bamboo steps or by a rope. You can also climb up by a bamboo pole.” -Ramakrishna

What do you think of this quote? Do you find it true?

Hello, new admin here. I will refer to myself as Shakta.

There's a short, Indian tale I love. I will share my version and see how you beautiful people interpret.

There once were six blind men who met an elephant. They had no idea what it was so they inspected the elephant by physically touching it. The first man felt its torso, and concluded it must be a wall. The second man felt its trunk, and concluded it must be a snake. The third man felt its tusk, and concluded it must be spear. The fourth man felt its ear, and concluded it was a fan. The fifth man felt its leg, and concluded it was a tree. The sixth man felt its tail, and concluded it was a rope.

I propose we hold a forum: Intelligent people of many religions, beliefs, spiritualities, and branches of atheism and agnosticism. If you would like to take pedestal for your system of faith and we can find enough people to fill at least 3 belief systems, widespread or unique of individual, we can start a discussion. We can find the points which we differ in view towards and learn to respect and accept them, we can see all the many feelings all humans as a species often share in common. It can then hopefully swell to an open forum, new understandings, stupid questions which yield crucially important answers.
I propose the same is convened of the social groups in societies world-wide. I really don't know where black people are coming from, but I'm gay, and I could explain to them why that defines and is worth fighting for in me, if they could take the time to explain where they come from and what they've experienced with me.
