Camp Workers! šŸ™Œ

We are thrilled to introduce our BRAND NEW Camp Workers Online Training Portal!

This new training process will help us be better prepared as a staff before we ever arrive on campus. Instead of using our usual early training time to cover everything from scratch, we can now shift that time toward worship, prayer, connection, team alignment, and final preparation before campers arrive.

This is a huge step toward serving our campers and families with even greater excellence!

Please take your time working through each lesson in the portal. Be sure to watch the videos in each section, review the information carefully, and complete the short quiz at the end of each lesson. Once you finish, you will also need to sign the completion form.

This training is important because every worker plays a part in creating a safe, Spirit-filled, organized, and life-changing camp experience. Whether you are serving in a cabin, rec, cafeteria, security, media, worship, or altar ministry, your preparation matters.

Our heart is simple: prepared workers help create an environment where students and kids can encounter Jesus.

Thank you for taking this seriously, giving your best, and helping us make this the best summer camp ever!

You don't have to complete this in one sitting; your progress should be saved. The entire training should take less than 1 hr.

Our camps are full, and that is a great thing! However, if you have not completed your camperā€™s Intake & Waiver Form, your camper is not fully registered and will not be able to attend camp until it is submitted.

Please check the email address you used to register, including your spam/junk folder, or go directly to the links below to complete the form.

THIS FORM MUST BE COMPLETED BY THIS SATURDAY NIGHT.
If we have not received your camperā€™s Intake & Waiver Form by then, we will have to remove your camper from the list in order to make space for other campers who are waiting to attend.

Please donā€™t wait; it takes less than 5 minutes to complete, and it helps us serve your camper with excellence.

Also, we will not be able to guarantee a camp t-shirt for your camper if their form has not been completed.

Kids Camp meeting is going down nightly, June 7-10th. Our theme this year is the Amour of God, and we want you to join us by wearing your camo.

Kids ages 6-12 are welcome to attend. Doors open 20 min prior to service, and we request that you promptly pick up your children directly following service.
(Kids Campmeeting will be in the gym area, towards the back right of campus)

Nursery will be available for children aged 6 months to 5 years. (Nursery is located in the Sanctuary)

Camp Meeting Youth Night is happening Wednesday, June 10th at Epic Church in Gastonia, and we want every youth ministry, student, youth pastor, and leader in the room!

This is going to be a powerful night of fun, worship, and the word.

This year, we are excited to partner with Godā€™s Pit Crew as our camp mission's focus.

Godā€™s Pit Crew is a faith-based disaster relief ministry that responds to people and communities impacted by natural disasters. Through emergency supplies, relief efforts, Blessing Buckets, and long-term rebuilding projects, they bring practical help and the hope of Jesus to families facing some of the hardest moments of their lives.

This partnership is especially meaningful because Godā€™s Pit Crew has been serving right here in Western North Carolina following the recent flooding. They have now completed their 51st home rebuild in Western North Carolina, helping families regain stability, hope, and a place to call home.

During camp, we will host a live camp fundraiser to support the ongoing work of Godā€™s Pit Crew. This fundraiser will serve as our missions offering, but we are encouraging campers to raise money before camp begins with the help of parents, family members, friends, and churches.

This allows students to participate in giving without feeling like they have to spend the money they brought for snacks, merch, or the camp store.

To make giving fun and connected to camp, every dollar raised will also count toward camp competition points:
Every $1 raised = 1 point for their team and super cabin.

Our goal is to teach students that generosity is part of worship.
Camp is not only about what God does in us, but also what He wants to do through us.

We want to be clear: no camper is being forced to raise money. This is simply an opportunity for them to see generosity, service, and sacrifice as an act of worship. Every dollar raised becomes more than a donation; it becomes a way for our students to participate in meeting real needs and honoring God with their efforts.

Together, we can help bring hope, healing, and restoration to families who are still rebuilding.
