Jesus said in Luke 19 to occupy until He comes. Do business. Take up the space God anointed for you. The wicked servant's sin was not rebellion — it was doing nothing with what the Master gave him. That is a warning for every believer.

We were never called to conquer mountains for cultural dominance. We were called to go and make disciples, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Read your Word. Pray. Witness. That has always been the strategy.

Athletes watch hours of game tape to prepare for an opponent, yet many believers open their Bibles only on Sunday. How can you pray with power over what you have not studied? How can you speak the word of God into a situation when you have not filled yourself with it? Reading Scripture with hunger, even without full understanding, eventually produces revelation. The Holy Spirit uses what is already in you. You do not need to understand every verse immediately. You need to be consistent. Put the word in, and in due season, God will bring the understanding out.

How much time do you currently give to reading Scripture compared to consuming other content?
What is one book of the Bible you have never read that you could begin this week?

Set a specific time each morning this week to read Scripture before picking up your phone. Even fifteen minutes of intentional reading done consistently will begin to reshape the way you pray, think, and respond to the world around you.

Are you a conduit or a collector? Stop letting the world outdo us at being the world while we fall short at being children of God. The sons of light should outshine the darkness, not the other way around.

Drawing from Luke 16, the message was clear: you can love God and have money, but you cannot love money and have God. Be the Sea of Galilee, not the Dead Sea. Let the blessing flow through you, not just to you.

Study the Word (2 Timothy 2:15). Pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17). Give how you want to receive (2 Corinthians 9:6). The world is not going to worship the world better than we worship God.

Refuse to be outdone. Get after it.

David committed adultery. Then he arranged a murder to cover it. By every measure of justice, his story should have ended there. Yet God's grace upon David was described as irrevocable. This does not mean sin carries no consequences. It means that grace is stronger than your worst moment. The prodigal son had wasted everything, dishonored his father, and hit rock bottom before he even turned toward home. But the father saw him while he was still far off and ran to meet him. God is not standing at the door of heaven with arms crossed, waiting for an apology. He is already moving toward you.

Is there a past failure you have not fully surrendered because you believe it was too great for grace to cover?

Read Luke 15:11-24 today. Place yourself in the role of the returning son. Let the image of the father running toward you settle into your spirit. Then spend time in honest, unguarded prayer.
