A few moments from our devotion this past Monday ✨
When we say “we prepare the way,” we are acknowledging that we do not force God to move, we position ourselves for him to move.
That looks like making space for him in our everyday lives, removing distractions, surrendering control, and choosing obedience even when it is uncomfortable. Preparing the way has always been about the inside.
It means surrendering the things that could block what God wants to do. Fear, pride, unhealthy habits or distractions.
As ministers of movement, we understand this is necessary for ministry, but this is also personal for our everyday lives. Preparation is not just for rehearsal, or Sunday morning!
Question: What attitude, habit, distraction, fear, offense, or emotional struggle do I need to surrender to God?
Focus Scripture: Isaiah 40:3-5 🤍
