We would like to extend our gratitude to our church and community for their donations so far - we are officially at full capacity and no longer have tables for rental for this Saturday’s yard sale.

We look forward to welcoming families and friends to the sale this May 2.

This multi-family yard sale promises something for everyone from clothing items to household items as well as a concession stand that will be run by our youth Sunday school.

Please come out and support your neighbours and church and we look forward to seeing you!

Psalm 1 presents us with two paths: the path of the blessed and the wicked.

The blessed delight in God’s Word, avoid wickedness, and live fruitful, prosperous lives. In contrast, the wicked fall into a progression of sin: sin begins in the heart and reveals itself in actions.

Victory over sin comes by reorienting our minds to God’s Word and following Christ’s example. Where our first parents (Adam and Eve) failed, Jesus stood firm and overcame.

Ultimately, there is no middle ground, for we are either in Christ or not. A life rooted in Christ leads to true prosperity.

Gentle reminder that our Neighbourhood Yard Sale is this Saturday, May 2 from 7:30am to noon in the Starmount Church Parking Lot!

If you would still like to register for a booth, kindly email us at [email protected] with your name and contact info and Venmo $10 to -Church (other methods of payment available upon request).

Donations to the church’s booth could include items such as books, sports equipment, good condition housewares and furniture, and gently used shoes and clothing for the church to sell.

The youth will be running a concession stand to help cover summer VBS costs. Please plan to come out and support your neighbors and local church!

The bible instructs us to:

• Serve Jesus with humility
• Keep a clean conscience
• Not judge our master’s servants

When we put these instructions into practice the church becomes a healthier, holier, more unified body.

Ultimately, God is in charge of the end result, we are to complete our tasks faithfully and not judge our work prematurely.
