Christians should care deeply about justice. But we should be cautious of any worldview that interprets reality primarily through the categories of power, oppression, and privilege. When those categories become the lens through which everything is explained, they often produce reductionistic conclusions and perpetuate an endless cycle of division rather than reconciliation.
The gospel offers a deeper diagnosis. Humanity’s fundamental problem is not merely unjust systems but sin. And because Christ transforms hearts, He also makes genuine reconciliation possible.✝️
