Pioneers and forerunners worship their way through transition to cross over into the glory.

David was a forerunner and a sign of the new priesthood to come in the order of Melchizedek. Jesus would fulfill the law and the prophets bridging the gap between the old order of worship and the new. The Aaronic priesthood and the Melchizedek order of priests functioned on two distant mountains. While David was transporting God’s holy presence back to its resting place, the priests under the Levitical order carried on with their sacrifices with no presence of God. They continued in the old pattern of religious duties and lifeless traditions, not even realizing God’s glory was glaringly absent.

The tabernacle of Moses and David contributed to the worship we enjoy today.
The pattern assigned to Moses created the banks for the river to flow. The standard of worship in the tabernacle of David releases the river to run through the borders established by Moses, releasing the wind of the Spirit to open the heavens for a holy deluge of His manifest presence to remain.

“We have this hope for an anchor for our soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where Jesus, who went before us, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.” Hebrews 6:19-20

Pioneers must pioneer! It's the changing of the guard...
There is a generation of new breed believers unwilling to turn back or retreat at the sight of giants in the land. They are giant slayers assigned with a specific task to carry out the Lord’s plan in removing the strongman to establish a permanent habitation for His presence to dwell. Their pilgrimage will not be in vain.

The kingdom of God is certainly advancing and cannot be stopped. The pioneers who set out to explore the new land are cheering us on amongst the great cloud of witnesses as we move into the final stage of our journey into the seasons of change.

Every revival pioneer has traveled this same dusty road with the expectation of a new day dawning and the age of the kingdom to descend upon a remnant of mature believers like a bride adorned for her bridegroom.

This journey is not for the faint of heart and we must build from our future, study our past to move forward and advance as an army dressed for battle. We are on a pilgrimage that compels us to step out into the great unknown as trailblazers who lead the way for those coming behind them.

John says, “I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the HOLY SPIRIT AND FIRE.” Matthew 3:11.

Fire consumes all that will not endure or withstand the test. It purifies and sanctify’s the vessel, preparing it for the Masters use. Isaiah 6 states, “When King Uzziah died, Isaiah saw the Lord high and lifted up and his train filled the temple.”

Isaiah recognized his need for purification and cried out, I am a man of unclean lips and I dwell among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.”

The seraphim were of a high rank and order of the angelic, taking a coal from the altar, touched Isaiah’s lips to purify any mixture and preparing him for his commission.

Isaiah was not commissioned to go without first experiencing a “baptism of fire.” The fire consumes and purifies all at the same time.
