🎉 Volunteers of the Week: Our New Community Group Leaders!

This week, we’re celebrating FOUR couples who have said yes to leading new Community Groups at Plaza!

At Plaza we are committed to community because we believe discipleship happens in relationships. We aim to make our groups high relational and highly practical. That means that we have diverse groups that meet weekly close to you, at a time that works for you, and provides childcare for you!

These community groups cannot happen without leaders. We’re so thankful for Mark & Ashia Scott, Alex & Dee Wong, Jacob & Polina Hartley, and Justin & Katie Ervin and their willingness to step into this role!

Leading a group means making room in your schedule, your home, and your life for other people. It’s a commitment, but it’s one that matters deeply because at Plaza, People are the Mission. ❤️

Plaza, help us celebrate our four newest Community Group Leaders! We’re praying for these leaders and their new groups. We cannot wait to see what the Lord does through these groups that kickoff in a couple of weeks! 🎉

Team Night never disappoints, and this one was no exception! We laughed, we celebrated, we voted, we gave thanks for all the Lord has done, and looked ahead with excitement for all He’s going to do. Oh, and there were some prizes along the way! 👀🎉 (Let's hear it for the Bird Buddy Pro! iykyk 😊 🎉 😊 🐦 😊)

🎉 Volunteer of the Week: Our Worship & Tech Team! 🎉

This week we're celebrating our incredible Worship & Tech Team!

While our beloved Kyle Feeney was away on paternity leave welcoming sweet baby James, this team stepped up in a big way. For two Sundays, they faithfully led our church in worship, and we are so thankful for them!

Plaza, we prayed for times like these!

Every person you see on this stage is someone we've asked the Lord to provide. Week after week, He's answered those prayers with people who love Him, love His Church, and faithfully use their gifts to help others worship Jesus. Every Sunday this team serves, our staff is reminded of the Lord's provision and faithfulness.

To every person leading us in worship, playing an instrument, operating a camera, mixing sound, adjusting lighting, setting up and directing the livestream, and so much more—thank you. We are so grateful for each of you. ❤️

Volunteers of the Week: Our Nairobi Team!

We're so grateful for each person who has stepped away from the comfort of home to make disciples who share and show the gospel. Thank you for your willingness to serve, love, encourage, and represent our Plaza family so well.

Church, would you join us in praying for them this week? Pray for safe travels, open doors, meaningful conversations, encouragement for our church partners, and that lives would be changed, both in Nairobi and within our team!

Everybody give it up for Paul & Emily Culver!

Plaza loves this family dearly! They came to us about a year ago and have been fully committed ever since.

If you have a kid in Plaza Kids, we bet you've seen Paul and Emily. They're either holding down the fort in that packed toddler class, handing out snacks in the elementary class, or rocking sleepy babies in the infant room. But the best thing about them? They show up and they show up ready. They are always happy to jump in wherever they are needed. They have been an immense blessing and encouragement to the Plaza Kids team leads and to our staff. We are going to miss them and Jack so fiercely as they prepare to move.

We knew we were only going to get a season with them, but what a wonderful season it has been! They're on their way to San Diego in the coming weeks, but they will always and forever have a home at Plaza.

Kenan has faithfully devoted his free time to learning and growing as part of the Plaza worship team, and it’s been awesome to watch his hard work show up on Sundays. We’re so thankful for his heart to serve, his humility, and his desire to keep improving and growing in worship leadership.

Big day for Plaza staff! Three staff kids graduated preschool together yesterday and it could not have been cuter! Grateful for a loving church family, a Gospel-centered preschool, and really cute kids.

Congrats to Elliana, Ethan, Wrenly, and the Class of 2026!
