O Lord, transform and shape me.
Restore and redefine me.
When it's time, please Lord, renew my mind.
Help me not to be so blind.
Out with the old and in with the new,
update the files that I once knew.
This outdated information simply won't do.
It may have worked then, but it won't work now.
I need new files uploaded to process somehow.
Reprogram the hardware deep inside.
Whatever in me that is not like You, revise.
Update it, bring me something new!
You said a perfect peace I'll find
as long as I am steadily giving you my time.
Well, please Lord, show me the way.
Point me in the right direction
so I will not stray.
Update and reboot this mind.
Help me leave my old ways and thoughts behind.
Once again, Lord, here is my life!
Transform me, make me whole,
rewrite me by Your design.

Sometimes our own brains can get exhausting...mental loads, responsibilities, cares, and struggles can weigh heavy on our minds. God wants to RENEW us in our minds, He says so often in the Bible!

Most of us already know an area of our lives where we need God to renew us. We tend to get caught up on a few hinderances that keep us from allowing God to work:

Our own comfort
Our identity
Our lack of confidence

But when we anchor these things on God, there is nothing he can’t do in and through us.

We are excited to be starting a new sermon series this week called RENEW.

We don’t usually walk away from God overnight, we drift. You can still show up, still serve, still believe, and slowly lose the fire that once marked your life with God. But in His mercy, God calls us back, not just to activity, but to life with Him again.

Over these weeks, we’ll be praying and asking God to revive us in specific areas of our lives our hunger for Him. Join us on Sunday at 10:30!

🙏 TONIGHT is our all-church PRAYER NIGHT! 🙏

We are a church that prays. We believe that prayer is essential, and we are encouraged as we get to gather tonight as a community to pray together!

Whether you are consistent in your prayer life or if prayer is something new to you (and maybe even a little uncomfy) this is the perfect night to be surrounded by one another as we lift up our prayers to God.
