In a world full of shifting ideas, only sound doctrine—centered on the Gospel—has the power to save and sustain. It is not opinion or spiritual self-help, but the eternal truth that Jesus Christ lived, died, and rose again for us. When doctrine drifts, everything drifts; but when Christ is at the center, we find identity, hope, and stability. Salvation is not based on our effort, but on the finished work of Jesus.

Sunday´s message called us not just to admire the truth, but to actively respond: live it, defend it, and proclaim it. In the midst of messages that exalt self, we are called to stand firm in the Gospel, remembering that our peace and purpose come from what Christ has already done.

This week, let’s walk in faith, reject what doesn’t point to Christ, and embrace the truth that transforms and sustains every area of our lives.

¨But Today Is Different¨...

Life has a way of reminding us—sometimes gently, sometimes abruptly—just how brief and fragile it really is. We move quickly, we plan endlessly, we assume tomorrow is guaranteed… and yet, every breath we take is a gift we didn’t earn. So much of what matters most often sits quietly in front of us, unnoticed, while we’re distracted by what feels urgent but isn’t eternal.

But today is different. Today is an invitation. An invitation to slow down… to see again… to awaken not just our physical eyes, but our spiritual senses. God is not distant—He is constantly revealing Himself. In the kindness of a conversation, in the beauty of creation, in a moment of peace that doesn’t make sense, in the strength to keep going when you felt like giving up. These are not coincidences—they are glimpses of His presence.

If your heart feels heavy today, don’t rush past it. Let it become a doorway instead of a wall. God often meets us most clearly in the places where we feel the weakest. Life is not just happening around you—it is God working in you and through you.

So lift your eyes.
There is still beauty to notice.
There is still purpose in your steps.
There are still people who need the encouragement you carry.
And there is still a God who sees you, walks with you, and is inviting you into something deeper today.

Don’t just exist today—be aware.
Don’t just look—truly see.
Don’t just breathe—live with gratitude.
Because this moment, right now, is a gift. And God is in it.

Psalm 90:12 — “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”

Ephesians 5:15–16 — “Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity…”

Jeremiah 29:13 — “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

Sunday I had a little fun with two “versions” of me… 😅

One looked like Paul — more seasoned, structured, grounded in truth. The other looked like Titus — younger, relational, adaptable, meeting people where they are.

Paul and Titus should have hated each other- Different styles. Different personalities. Different approaches and yet they worked together to teach one Gospel.

God did not need them to be identical… He used their differences to reach more people.

The Gospel is bigger than our preferences, our styles, and even our differences. It’s the very thing that brings us together.

In a world that divides over everything— generations, opinions, culture, methods— Jesus unites.

We may look different; Lead different; Reach people differently.

But we are one in Christ. Same Savior. Same mission. Same Gospel.

And that’s what makes the Church so powerful.

Sunday’s message opened our Titus series with a very human reality: we are different, and those differences often separate us.

Generations, cultures, and experiences create barriers that lead us to distrust, distance ourselves, and even see others as “natural enemies.” However, through the relationship between Paul and Titus—two men who, in theory, shouldn’t get along—we discover that God has a greater plan.

“The gospel does not eliminate our differences, but it does destroy what separates us.”

This means the gospel does not erase who we are, but it tears down the walls of pride, sin, and division, turning natural enemies into unlikely allies. This is how we live as the church: different, but not divided.

Thank you 🙏🏼 to our entire GS team (English and Spanish) who supported our “Wheels of Hope” event alongside Queen City Pregnancy Resource Center.

In addition to providing breakfast and diapers, it was a time of connection, community, prayer, and sharing the Gospel with 89 people from all backgrounds.

Today we lived out our mission: “Inviting all people into a living relationship with Jesus Christ.”

This past weekend reminded us of something powerful: what began as a simple invitation turned into a beautiful celebration of life, hope, and resurrection this Easter.

Before someone walks through the doors… before a seat is filled… before a song is sung… it all begins with someone simply saying, “Come with me.”

To everyone who invited someone—thank you. You were part of something bigger than you can imagine. You helped create a space for someone to experience the love of Jesus. Let’s keep moving forward. Because the invited… becomes the inviter. The invitation is the win.
