Have you experienced loss recently? Whether it's mourning the passing of a family member or friend, the loss of a job, or the loss of a friendship, your loss is real. But it is NOT the end of your story. 💚

Romans 8:18 says, "For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us."

God understands our hurt and loss, but He also knows the glory that is coming for those who know Him. As believers, we have hope that this life, struggle, and loss are not the end.

Express your grief to God and ask Him to give you a spirit of peace, knowing that His glory and grace are more than enough. 🙏🏾

Do you feel like God is punishing you by making you wait? Our instincts tell us that waiting is an act of discipline. While God can discipline us with waiting, He may also intend to mature us in times of waiting.

Isaiah 30:18 says, "Therefore the Lord waits to be gracious to you, and therefore he exalts himself to show mercy to you. For the Lord is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him." 📖

When we understand that God is just, we can find peace in knowing that there is a reason for the wait. Trust in His plan, for it is during these times of waiting that we often grow, learn, and find new strength in Him. 💚

Struggling with a sin that just won't go away? Temptation does not have to result in sin. Jesus himself was tempted by the devil, but used Scripture to fight it. 📖

1 Corinthians 10:13 says, "No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."

God does not promise to take away temptation completely. He DOES promise to provide us with a way out.

Think about the last time you gave in to temptation. What kept you from escaping it? Now, make boundaries to create distance from it. This could mean deleting an app, separating yourself from people who negatively influence you, or asking a friend to check in on you. Take the step TODAY before you encounter temptation TOMORROW. 💚

If you want peace that never fades, joy that never ends, and perspective that sees every failure and setback as just another piece of the story God is writing with your life, then you need to get up tomorrow and get to church❗❗❗

It's time to get off the rollercoaster. It's time to root yourself in what lasts. It's time to build your life on God and His promises so you can stop surviving and start thriving in life! 🙏🏾
