HAVE A BLESSED HOLY TRINITY SUNDAY 🤍
Today, the Church celebrates one of the greatest and deepest mysteries of our faith—the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity. We believe in one God in Three Divine Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Though distinct in Person, they are perfectly one in nature, power, and love. This truth is not simply a doctrine to memorize, but a mystery to believe, live, and encounter every day.
The Father is our Creator who lovingly called us into existence. The Son, Jesus Christ, became man to save us from sin and open the gates of eternal life through His death and resurrection. The Holy Spirit continues to guide, sanctify, and strengthen the Church and every believer. From creation to redemption to sanctification, the Holy Trinity is constantly at work in our lives.
The Trinity also teaches us the beauty of unity and love. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit exist in a perfect communion of self-giving love. In the same way, we are called to live in harmony with one another—within our families, communities, friendships, and the Church. True love is never selfish; it gives, serves, forgives, and unites.
Every time we make the Sign of the Cross, we proclaim this sacred mystery. It is not merely a routine gesture before prayer, but a declaration that we belong to the Triune God. We were baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and through that baptism, we became children of God and members of His Church.
Even if the mystery of the Trinity is beyond complete human understanding, it reminds us that God is greater than our minds can fully comprehend, yet close enough for our hearts to know and love. The Holy Trinity is not a puzzle to solve, but a relationship to enter.
May this Holy Trinity Sunday renew our faith, strengthen our hope, and deepen our love for the God who created us, redeemed us, and remains with us always.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. 🤍
