Good Morning!
Today in Kids Worship and Bible classes, 3 year olds through 6th graders will learn about Peter's revelation that the gospel is for ALL people, not just the Jews. God showed Peter that just as there is no “clean” and “unclean” food in Christ, there are no “clean” and “unclean” people. God calls believers to tell everyone the good news about Jesus, no matter who they are or where they come from. Jesus is the Lord of all.

Lesson Passage: Acts 10

Memory Verse: But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53:5

Big Picture Question: What is the church? The church is all Christians everywhere, who gather together in their communities to worship and serve God.

We have been having a lot of fun with our 456 pr***en ministry the last couple of weeks! We enjoyed a one night retreat at Camp Thunderbird and a pizza and paint night! Love this fun crew. We are excited for more fun with them at PBC and VBS this summer! Message Ms Emily if you need help signing up! And be sure to join us Sunday mornings at 10 for class. Starting in June, Hayley, Roman, and Sarah will be teaching 456 and we will start our summer talking about DRAMA. Ed will look to Colossians for wisdom on how to handle friend drama, family drama, and more-than-friends drama. Don’t miss it!

Good Morning!
Today in Kids Worship and Bible classes, 3 year olds through 6th graders will learn about Stephen and his persecution. Jesus told His followers that they would be persecuted—hated, hurt, or even killed—for loving Him. Jesus also said that those who suffer for Him would be blessed. We can face suffering in this life because Jesus suffered first. He died and then rose again, and He is waiting for us in heaven.

Lesson Passage: Acts 6-7

Memory Verse: But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53:5

Big Picture Question: Why does God command Christians to tell others about Jesus? We tell others about Jesus so they will hear and believe the good news.

Good Morning!
Today in Kids Worship and Bible classes, 3 year olds through 6th graders will learn about when the apostles named deacons to take care of the church. The apostles believed that everyone in the church had an important job to do to serve God’s people and help spread the gospel. Jesus wants us to serve others so that the message of His death and resurrection can be heard and believed all over the world.

Lesson Passage: Acts 6

Memory Verse: But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53:5

Big Picture Question: Why does God command Christians to tell others about Jesus? We tell others about Jesus so they will hear and believe the good news.

Good Morning!
Today in Kids Worship and Bible classes, 3 year olds through 6th graders will learn about Ananias and Sapphira and how Peter called out their sin. Ananias and Sapphira wanted to look generous, but they were greedy and chose to lie. The Holy Spirit changes our hearts to want to share with those in need. Jesus generously gave all He had so we can share in His riches and have forgiveness and eternal life.

Lesson Passage: Acts 4-5

Memory Verse: But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53:5

Big Picture Question: Why does God command Christians to tell others about Jesus? We tell others about Jesus so they will hear and believe the good news.

Also, Our 456/PYG April Sunday Night Event has been MOVED BACK ONE WEEK to accommodate parents returning home from the Women's Retreat! Join us from 5-7pm on April 26th at Ms. Emily's house for Taco and Game Night. Please sign up to contribute to the meal at the link found in the PKM weekly email!

Good Morning!
The kiddos filled up their sticker charts last week so today in Kids Worship, we will have a movie party and watch "Wonder Park"!
In Bible classes, 3 year olds through 6th graders will learn about Peter and John being called before the Sanhedrin but continuing to preach the gospel. Peter continued to preach about Jesus even when it was difficult. Not even the religious leaders could stop Jesus’ followers from sharing the good news about Jesus. The gospel is great news that we must share if we believe in Jesus Christ.

Lesson Passage: Acts 4

Memory Verse: Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. John 17:3

Big Picture Question: Why does God command Christians to tell others about Jesus? We tell others about Jesus so they will hear and believe the good news.

Good Morning!
Today in Kids Worship and Bible classes, 3 year olds through 6th graders will learn about when Peter healed the lame man in Acts 3. After Jesus returned to heaven, the Holy Spirit gave the disciples power to begin working. With the power of Jesus’ name, Peter healed a man who was lame. Peter and John showed God’s power and pointed to a greater, spiritual healing found in Jesus.

Lesson Passage: Acts 3

Memory Verse: Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. John 17:3

Big Picture Question: How does the Holy Spirit help Christians? The Holy Spirit comforts us, shows us our sin, and guides us as we live for God’s glory.

Good Morning!
Today in Kids Worship and Bible classes, 3 year olds through 6th graders will learn about when Peter preached in Jerusalem. Peter’s sermon shows the Holy Spirit’s power to save and change those who trust in Jesus. God used Peter to preach about Jesus to the crowd so that thousands of others would believe and be changed as well. All who believe in Jesus are changed and will never be the same.

Lesson Passage:
Acts 2

Memory Verse: Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. John 17:3

Big Picture Question: How does the Holy Spirit help Christians? The Holy Spirit comforts us, shows us our sin, and guides us as we live for God’s glory.

Good Morning!
What are we learning?
Today in Kids Worship and Bible classes, 3 year olds through 6th graders will learn about when the Holy Spirit came at Pentecost. God kept His promise to send the Holy Spirit. With the Holy Spirit’s help, Jesus’ disciples could begin their work to share the gospel with the entire world. God gives the Holy Spirit to everyone who trusts in Jesus as Lord and Savior.

Lesson Passage: Acts 2

Memory Verse: Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. John 17:3

Big Picture Question: How does the Holy Spirit help Christians? The Holy Spirit comforts us, shows us our sin, and guides us as we live for God’s glory.

Good Morning!
Today in Kids Worship and Bible classes, 3 year olds through 6th graders will learn about when Jesus taught that many people would reject him and his gift of salvation. Everyone is invited into the kingdom of God, but not everyone will enter. People are saved only by trusting in Jesus. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Him.

Lesson Passage: Luke 13

Memory Verse: He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem. Isaiah 53:3

Big Picture Question: Why do people reject Jesus? People reject Jesus because all people are born with a sin nature and want to please themselves rather than obey God.
