Hello Crossroads family and fellow believers!!!

We are excited to announce our new Sunday evening service starting on November 15th:

📖 AROUND THE WORD

There's something special about gathering together as a family. No distractions. No rushing. Just time spent together around something that matters.

That's the heart behind Around the Word, our brand-new Sunday evening gathering!

We're creating a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere where we can come together as a church family to worship, pray, and most importantly, open God's Word and discover the incredible truths found within its pages.

So what makes Around the Word different?

Unlike our traditional Sunday morning services, Sunday evenings will have a more informal, teaching-focused atmosphere. We'll be working our way verse by verse, passage by passage, chapter by chapter, through entire books of the Bible!

We'll slow down, explore the historical background, unpack difficult passages, examine important theological truths, and discover how Scripture speaks into our everyday lives.

And here's something we're especially excited about: We want your questions!

As we study, you'll have opportunities to write down questions about the passages we're exploring. Then, each week, we'll take a few minutes to address selected questions from the previous gathering. Because studying God's Word shouldn't just give us information—it should stir our curiosity and deepen our understanding!

Each gathering will last approximately one hour and include opening prayer, a couple of traditional hymns, Scripture reading, in-depth Bible teaching, and a closing song as we head home.

This isn't about replacing Sunday morning or simply adding another traditional church service. It's about creating another opportunity to grow closer to God and one another through His Word.

Whether you've been studying the Bible for decades or you're just beginning to explore it, there's a place for you here.

So grab your Bible, grab a notebook, bring your questions, and come gather with us AROUND THE WORD!

📅 Beginning: November 15th

🕕 Time: 6 p.m. - 7 p.m.

📍 Location: Crossroads Community Church 411 Jackson Avenue in Charleston, IL.
