💜 We are incredibly proud of Coty Long , Chair of our McDowell, Mercer, Summers & Monroe Reentry Council!

Coty is a beautiful example of what second chances can do. He has taken his lived experience, strength, and recovery and turned it into a way to serve others and we are so grateful for the leadership, heart, and hope he brings to his community.

Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition, Coty! Keep doing what you’re doing. West Virginia is better because people like you choose to reach back and help the next person forward. 💜

On behalf of the Recovery Community Subcommittee of the WV Governor’s Council on Substance Use, Prevention and Treatment, WVSL Solutions is asking West Virginia’s peer recovery workforce to share their experiences.

The statewide Peer Workforce Survey is gathering information about training needs, preferred learning opportunities, workplace challenges, and the resources peers need to succeed.

If you are a Peer Recovery Support Specialist, recovery coach, supervisor, program manager, or work in a related recovery support role, please take a few minutes to participate.

Responses are voluntary and anonymous. Information will only be presented collectively and will help identify priorities for strengthening West Virginia’s peer workforce.
