Dr. Samuel C. Tolbert, Jr, NBCA President and Dr. Kevin James, NBCA's Director of Music would like to inform everyone of an important update regarding the concert with Ricky Dillard, as well as announce our new artist Hezekiah Walker.

In a statement received from Ricky Dillard's manager, she said "It is with great regret that I must inform you that Ricky will not be able to attend and perform at your event on June 27, 2024. He has been ill for the past couple of weeks and we have been hopeful that he'd be strong enough to perform but the doctor recommends he not travel nor perform. We know this is disappointing to you and those attending the Convention. Please know it is disappointing for Ricky as well; he was very much looking forward to being a part of the Convention. We ask for your understanding and your prayers."

As our prayers are extended to Ricky, we are thankful to announce that Grammy winner, gospel singer, composer, and choir leader Hezekiah Walker has graciously accepted the invitation as a favor to Ricky and to ensure that this highly anticipated concert can still be a blessing to everyone.

Your free tickets for the concert remain valid, and no further action is required on your part. Doors will open at 6:00 pm, so we encourage you to arrive early to secure your seats. If you have not secured your free tickets, you can do so by clicking the link below.

We look forward to worshipping and singing with you on Thursday as we give “Every Praise” to our God!
