As the school year comes to a close, we just want to say—what an incredible year it’s been! 🎉📚

To all our students: thank you for your hard work, dedication, and the many ways you’ve been part of our ILCM community this year. We’re so grateful for each of you!

As summer begins, our regular school-year activities will pause and pick back up in August. We hope this season is filled with rest, fun, and meaningful time with family and friends. ☀️

Finals week is almost here—you’ve got this! 💪📚

Take a deep breath, trust the work you’ve put in, and remember that your worth is so much more than a grade. Do your best, take care of yourself, and don’t forget to rest when you can.

Come join us this evening as we start a new study working our way through the Song of Solomon.
At first glance (or more likely blush), one may wonder what this book is doing in the bible, let alone how it is like Jesus. We will be exploring the deep history of this book in the Christian church. The Song of Solomon's deep connections to other passages of scripture-- and endeavor to find Christ's crimson blood, glorious promises, and beautiful Gospel pouring richly out of every page of the Bible.

YOUNG ADULT CONFERENCE: Join us in Champaign, IL on Saturday, March 28, 2026 to grow as Christian men and women, meet new friends, get to know each other, and have fun. The conference is open to Lutheran young adults, ages 18-30. Married or single are welcome. Pre/Post-Conference activities are planned for March 27 and March 28. Registration is required, as capacity is limited. More information and registration is available at martinpluskatie.org. Please register no later than Friday, March 20th.

CALLING ALL EIU STUDENTS!! Join us in the Union Grand Ballroom on Thursday, March 5th at 7 PM for a night of fun trivia, refreshments, and prizes! Grab your crew (teams of 4-6) or show up solo and we’ll find a team for you. We’re covering everything from Gen Z nostalgia and Pop Culture to the Bible and EIU/Charleston lore. The winning team members will be awarded gift cards to Charleston restaurants, but there are opportunities to win other prizes throughout the evening!
