The Anglican Diocese of South Carolina The Anglican Diocese of South Carolina has just over 15,000 baptized members spread across the eastern and coastal portion of the state. Rev.

The Diocese dissociated from the Episcopal Church in the fall of 2012. The Anglican Diocese of South Carolina, led by the Rt. Chip Edgar, is recognized by Anglican Dioceses and Provinces around the world, many of whom have broken fellowship with The Episcopal Church, and in 2013 the Diocese joined the global Fellowship of Confessing Anglicans and entered into a formal relationship of Provisional

Primatial Oversight with Global South Primates. The Diocese was welcomed into the province of the Anglican Church in North America during their Provincial Council meeting in June of 2017.

The Holy Order Podcast features conversations rooted in Scripture and the Anglican tradition that help Christians find order in a disordered age. Hosted by Cooper Nye and the Very Rev. Cn. Bryan Hollon, Ph.D., the podcast explores theology, culture, history, and the Christian life, connecting timeless wisdom with the questions and challenges of the culture today.

The first episodes introducing the podcast are available now and will be followed by a series on C.S. Lewis’ "The Abolition of Man".

Collect of a New Rector
O Lord my God, I am not worthy to have you come under my roof; yet you have called your servant to stand in your house, and to serve at your altar. To you and to your service I devote myself, body, soul, and spirit. Fill my memory with the record of your mighty works; enlighten my understanding with the light of your Holy Spirit; and may all the desires of my heart and will center in what you would have me do. Make me an instrument of your salvation for the people entrusted to my care, and grant that I may faithfully preach the Gospel and administer your holy Sacraments, and by my life and teaching set forth your true and living Word. Be always with me in carrying out the duties of my ministry. In prayer, quicken my devotion; in praises, heighten my love and gratitude; in preaching, give me readiness of thought and expression; in worship, increase my zeal for godly preparation; and grant that, by the clearness and brightness of your holy Word, all the world may be drawn into your blessed kingdom. All this I ask for the sake of your Son our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
