A few reminders for parents and coaches in the middle of sports season.

We all want kids to grow, compete, and build resilience.

But that happens best in environments where they feel supported, not just evaluated.

This week’s podcast dives deeper into what that looks like in real life.

We talked about this idea on the podcast and it stuck:

Anti-fragile confidence.

Not the kind of confidence that only shows up when things are going well…but the kind that actually grows through hard moments.

Because let’s be honest—
sports (and life) are full of:
– mistakes
– pressure
– failure
– uncomfortable moments

If a kid’s confidence is built only on performance, it falls apart the moment things get hard.

But anti-fragile confidence says:
“I’ve done hard things before.”
“I can recover.”
“I’ll be okay even if this doesn’t go my way.”

That’s the kind of confidence that lasts.
That’s what we’re actually trying to build.
