On the evening of that first day of the week, when the doors were locked, where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in their midst and said to them, “Peace be with you.”

When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. The disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord.

[Jesus] said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you."

And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the holy Spirit.

Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them, and whose sins you retain are retained.”

When he had said this, as they were looking on,
he was lifted up, and a cloud took him from their sight.
While they were looking intently at the sky as he was going,
suddenly two men dressed in white garments stood beside them.
They said, “Men of Galilee,
why are you standing there looking at the sky?
This Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven
will return in the same way as you have seen him going into heaven.”

Our Youth Group continues to grow in great numbers! Join our Summer Discipleship Program this June & July! Middle School & High School aged kids will attend daily Mass, reflect/pray in Adoration, go to Confession, and participate in Bible Study. Lunch is provided.

On this Feast of Feast of Our Lady of Fatima, may we remember the Blessed Mother’s urgent call to prayer, repentance, and peace.

As many parts of the world continue to experience suffering, violence, uncertainty, and division, may every Rosary prayed become a prayer for healing, reconciliation, and hope for families and nations across Africa and the whole world. 🙏
