Years ago, these steps were damaged by a wayward car. Time further heaved the steps, narrowing the treads and creating uneven risers. Yesterday they were reset, making much safer and more usable steps. We will soon begin the repair of the sidewalk above the steps. Thanks to all involved!

So, after years of deliberations we have bitten the bullet and signed a contract with Gruber-Latimer Restoration to restore the cemetery wall. They come with reams of references and accolades. We have used them in some of our other repairs. I personally have interfaced with them for at least 40 years, knowing the founder, Dick Gruber. Their first efforts will be directed at the Mildred Street section.
