Two reminders about this coming Sunday:
1) This coming Sunday is Pentecost, and in celebration of the fiery Holy Spirit, we're asking everyone to wear "fire" colors to the service if possible: red, yellow, orange...although some of our more scientifically-minded members have pointed out that blue and white are also the colors of fire!

2) there will not be a potluck lunch this Sunday or the Sunday after...the next one will be on June 7th.

We will not have a service at the church building tomorrow. Instead, we will be gathering with many other churches from the county at 11 AM at Harrison Park (5201 Harrison Park Rd, Charles City, VA 23030) for Church in the Park - Charles City, VA

There will be a worship service, music, kids' games, and more. Lunch is provided at the end of the event.

They'll have some chairs there, but you're also encouraged to bring your own lawn chairs.
