Brainerd Free School of Mission Brainerd Free School of Mission offers traditional ministry training courses with flexible class schedules. And that is who we are training, too.

About Us:
Our ministry is based on the idea that with 'intentionality' called people can learn to be missionaries in their home context and around the world. Named after David Brainerd, an early American college student (Yale) who is famous for writing a prayer journal (which has become a devotional classic), for leading a village of Native Americans to faith in Christ and for laying his life down

in the service of His Savior. We chose Brainerd as a role model because he was an Ameican college student doing missions in America! Leaders from four local churches came together to work as an informal missionary society, and this resulted in the formation of this school. From the beginning God has been confirming and blessing with extravagance!
