What a beautiful morning! ❤️ We gathered for prayer, then went door to door inviting our neighbors to church and praying with those who shared a need. We’re so thankful for our church family and for the opportunity to pray together, serve our community, and share God’s love. 🙏⛪️

For those who have not heard, we recently changed the name of our church. Chardon Assembly of God is now called Hilltop City Church!
Why the name change? It’s based on scripture, “You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭14‬ ‭NLT‬‬
Our church sits on one of the highest points in our area, quite literally sitting on a hilltop. Chardon school’s mascot is the “Hilltoppers” so we are also connecting with our city as “hilltop” is familiar in our town.
What does this mean for our church, are we still an Assembly of God church? Yes we are! Our mission is still the same, love God and love people. When we see name changes in the Bible we see people who had fresh and renewed vision from the Lord. This is what we want from God, renewed vision to love, serve, and reach our city.

What a Sunday! I am thankful that God loves us and calls us. Just like Saul became Paul, God gives us a new name when we become followers of His.

As our kids head to Kids Camp this week, would you join us in praying for them?

Pray that they would be safe, build lasting friendships, and most importantly, encounter Jesus in a life-changing way. We believe God is going to do great things in their hearts.

We are so grateful for the body of Christ. Look at what God is doing! Thank you to our parent church Painesville Assembly of God for the continued investment into our church. We are grateful for all the ways you continue to support us.
Thank you to Avon Christian Heritage Church for sending a team to help with our building. Your support means so much to us.
The body of Christ goes beyond one city or one building. Working together and supporting each other is what it truly means to reach Ohio for Jesus.

Today we started our church work week to make some much needed repairs to the outside of the church building. A huge thank you to Avon Christian Heritage Church for sending a team to come and serve our church. Stay tuned for more pictures this week to keep up with the progress.

It’s a beautiful day to gather together at church! Join us this morning at 10:30 for our Mother’s Day service and enjoy our Bloom Bar, where every lady can create a beautiful bouquet to take home.
