In honor of Fr. Peter’s last Sunday as Christ Church’s rector, let us gather at a Combined Coffee Hour between the services.

Join us in the front of the church as we greet each other and say farewell to Fr. Peter, Marie and Harry. There will be a basket for your cards, notes of favorite sermons or moments during their stay in Chaptico.

Please bring a plate to share of your favorite coffee hour treat along with a serving utensil and we’ll take care of the rest.

As we continue through this season of transition, I know each of us is processing the news of my September departure in our own way. If there is anything left unsaid between us, or if you would find a conversation helpful before my ministry here concludes, I would be honored to meet with you.

Whether it is a question, a concern, a word of thanks, or simply a chance to say goodbye, please do not hesitate to reach out. I welcome the opportunity. As I have shared with the leadership of Christ Church, it remains my intention to leave well, which is why I delayed my West Coast start.
