Little is much when God is in it!
Isaiah 60:22
[22]A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time.

It has been said, This is a Divine rebuke of our estimates. We look at outward magnitudes; God looks at that which has inward extension in itself.
Most of us can only see what is now in the present, but there is that rare person that can look at something small and see something grand.
God said, A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation.
Abraham, one man with a barren wife, was told by the Lord he would make of him a great nation!
Genesis 12:2
[2]And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

Oh yes, Little is much when God is in it! The prophet said, Who hath despised the day of small things!
You may feel insignificant and unimportant. Don't be intimidated by the false estimates of this world.
It was a babe born In a manger, seemingly insignificant. Not even important enough to get the best room in a lowly inn!
The world thought it unimportant but it was the greatest, most impactful event of all time. Christ OUR SAVIOR WAS BORN!
It is through him all nations of the earth would be blessed. All nations, tongues and kindreds would drink of the wells of spiritual blessings that would flow from the life, death and resurrection of the meek and lowly Jesus of Nazareth, the Son of God!
Eternal life for millions upon millions would come from his sacrifice at Calvary! One death on one cross would change the world!

A little one shall become a thousand!
It is God's arithmetic! Our Lord laid his hands on a few loaves, broke them and gave to thousands!
So it is, the smallest of us willing to allow the Lord to lay his hands on us and brake us can be made to bless a multitude!
A LITTLE ONE is the key!
Saul was able to be used when he was small in his own eyes.
John the baptist proclaimed, I must decrease!
Paul told us it is when he is weak that he is strong!
It is when we cease from ourselves and lay our lives down at the feet of the Savior that HE can take and breath HIS life into us and do miraculous things!
It is when we die to ourselves that the risen savior can arise in us!

He said, The LORD will hasten it in his time.

God has a schedule that he will keep and it is all in HIS time!
We are told it was in DUE TIME Christ died for the ungodly.
God had a perfect plan that would transpire exactly THE WAY he willed it to be and exactly WHEN he willed it to be!
Little did they know at the time that all of those things that came to pass, that they were done exaclty as God had already foreordained. The world couldn't see God's plan. Satan thought he was winning but little did he know he was the biggest loser!
When God's events begin to happen it will happen suddenly and in a hurry!
He will hasten it!
It is the same when we have to meet the Lord! It will happen before we realize it!
Are you ready for the rapture/? If the Lord came back today and called his church home would you be ready/?
Are you prepared to go into eternity when you die? Would you be in heaven or in hell?

The Lord will hasten it! In his time!
God will enlarge and expand things in his time! It isn't for us to concern ourselves with his part, it is for us to trust and obey! Leave what is in the Lord's hands to the Lord! Let us be faithful and realize that we serve a great big God that can do mighty things! Don't be discouraged or feel insignificant realizing that God is working and moving in our midst!
What HE has promised HE will shortly bring to pass!

Return to the Lord, NOW!
Isaiah 55:6-7
[6]Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
[7]Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

There is an urgency needed when it comes to seeking after the Lord! He tells us to, Seek the Lord while he may be found.
Listen, once you die and go into eternity it will be too late. You have an opportunity now to ask for forgiveness and repent before the Lord. DO IT NOW.
The fact he says, While he MAY be found tells us there will come a time when you won't be able to find him.
People play games with God knowing they need to pray. They put it off, put it off and put it off until one day they lift their eyes up in hell.

[7]Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

He is telling the wicked and the unrighteous to return to the Lord!
You can't return to a place you have never been. You can't return to someone you have never known.
This proves that a person can know the Lord at one time and find themselves in the condition of being wicked and unrighteous.
You may say, Brother Dave I was raised in church but I know my life isn't what the Lord wants it to be. I know I have sinned and am away from the Lord.
Listen to God, LET HIM RETURN UNTO THE LORD!

Ok, you are away from the Lord, return to him now! Forsake the way that you are on, flee to the Lord! All the wicked thoughts and deeds that have led you down that sinful road, FORSAKE IT!
This is what the Lord will do,

If you will forsake your way and repent, calling upon the name of the Lord, he will have mercy and abundantly pardon. The God of heaven will shed his grace and love upon you in great abundance.

Do it now, Return to the Lord!

How excited are you about going to church?
Psalms 122:1
[1](A Song of degrees of David.) I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.

Ever since I was born again I have a had a zeal and desire for the house of the Lord! There is a joy in serving God and especially in worshiping and praising the Lord!
Now I realize sometimes we get physically tired or sick and don't feel like going but there is just something on the inside of a blood washed saint of God that propels them to the church house!
David said, I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord.
To David it wasn't a drudgery or a duty it was a joy! That is one thing that drew me to the Pentecostal Holiness folks when I went to services; their joy and excitement about serving the Lord!
We should be glad when it is time to go to church! Good things happen at the house of God. Folks are saved. People get healed, encouraged and empowered! The depressed are infused with hope. Broken families are put back together. The young person gets warned about wasting their life in frivolity. The older person is prepared for that final journey that is drawing near. People recieve correction, direction and instructions in righteousness. Men learn how to be godly men, women learn how to be godly women and children are taught to love the Lord! It is there the children learn the song, Jesus loves me this I know! Or The B I B L E yes that is the book for me!
We ought to be chomping at the bits to go to church!
Have you still got zeal about going to church, or have you ever had that zeal. If not, why not?
He said I was GLAD when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord!
If you look like a Missouri mule when it is time to worship the Lord how can you expect anyone to want what you have?
Let us get a biblical attitude towards the house of God and serving Jesus, Let us do it with joy and gladness!If you have lost zeal for the house of God then take time to pray through until the joy of the Lord floods your soul! I know we all go through things but there should be a prevailing joy and gladness in our life when it is time to go to church!
Attend services this Sunday with a renewed joy and gladness, settle for no less!

Let us help and strengthen the weak!
Isaiah 35:3-4
[3]Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.
[4]Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.

There are times when people go through a period of weakness. Life has a way of wounding people; causing their Faith to wane. It becomes difficult for them to reach out with hands of faith and receive the healing and strength that God has for them!
It is in these times we need to be brothers and sisters in the Lord and help them!

[3]Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.

This reminds me of the scripture in the book of Hebrews.
Hebrews 12:12-13
[12]Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;
[13]And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.

There were those that had become so worn down in their spiritual battles they didn't have the faith to lift their hands and praise the Lord! He said, LIFT UP THE HANDS THAT HANG DOWN!
In Isaiah he told us to strengthen the weak hands. When we think of hands it speaks to us of what we do. We work and serve the Lord with our hands. The Bible talks about the works of our hands and people get to the point they are so weak they are not able to do and work for the Lord! Their spiritual hands are weak. Discouragement and sin has caused their hands to be weak. WE NEED TO STRENGTHEN those weak hands of our brothers and sisters!

Feeble knees causes a person not be able to stand! They are hindered in their walking too. Feeble knees can make a person immobile. Sometimes they need a knee replacement!
When someone has feeble knees spiritually they aren't able to stand for the Lord for long! They are on the way to falling. They can't walk like they are supposed to in the Lord. Their walk with God is hindered. People with feeble knees start being missing from Church. While their church attendance used to be faithful now they start missing night services.
Isaiah said confirm the feeble knees.
Confirm in this context speaks of adding strength to, or to fix more firmly, or Establish.
There comes a time when intervention is necessary! When people get shaky in their walk with God and seem to be veering from the path we need to help them get back to strength! Spiritual rehab if you will!

13]And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.

Time is of the essence. A person that is in this condition will be out of the way if something isn't done!
I like what he said there in the word, Let it rather be healed.
God wants to heal them. He wants to restore them. We that are strong need to help the weak and strengthen them! Pray for them. Encourage them so that instead of being lost they can be healed.
