The world is growing darker, but God still calls His people to shine brightly for Him. A beacon does not hide its light; it stands where others can see the way. As Christians, we should pray that our words, actions, and attitudes point people toward Jesus Christ. Our young people have a wonderful opportunity to be a light in their schools, homes, friendships, and communities. With the upcoming Youth Sunday service, let us pray that God will use every young person to shine boldly for His glory. May we all ask the Lord to make our lives a beacon that leads someone out of darkness and toward the saving light of Christ.

πŸ“– Matthew 5:16 (KJV) β€” β€œLet your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

πŸ“– Philippians 2:15 (KJV) β€” β€œThat ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;”

Being adopted into God's family gives us more than a new name; it gives us a glorious inheritance through Jesus Christ. Romans 8 teaches us that the children of God are also heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ. This truth should fill our hearts with hope, especially when the difficulties of this world become heavy. Our present struggles are not the end of our story because our Father has prepared something far greater for His children. A church led by the Spirit keeps its eyes on Christ and remembers the eternal promises of God. Tonight, rejoice in knowing that you are part of God's family and that your future is secure in Him.

πŸ“– Romans 8:16–17 (KJV) β€” β€œThe Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ...”

πŸ“– Galatians 4:7 (KJV) β€” β€œWherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.”

Fear can make us forget who we are and whose we are. Romans 8 reminds us that the child of God has not been given a spirit of bo***ge that leads us back into fear. Through adoption, we have been welcomed into a relationship with a loving heavenly Father. This does not mean that life will always be easy, but it means that we never face life without God's presence and care. A Spirit-led church should be a place where people are reminded that they can find courage in the love of their Father. When fear comes knocking, answer it with the truth that you are a child of God.

πŸ“– Romans 8:15 (KJV) β€” β€œFor ye have not received the spirit of bo***ge again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.”

πŸ“– 2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV) β€” β€œFor God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

A Spirit-governed church is made up of people who are willing to be led by the Spirit of God. The Spirit does not lead us toward selfishness, sin, or division, but toward obedience and a deeper relationship with Christ. As God's children, we have the privilege of following the One who knows the path before us. We do not have to face the day alone or depend solely upon our own wisdom and strength. God has given His Spirit to guide, strengthen, and remind us that we belong to Him. Begin this day by surrendering your plans, your decisions, and your heart to the leadership of the Holy Spirit.

πŸ“– Romans 8:14 (KJV) β€” β€œFor as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”

πŸ“– Galatians 5:25 (KJV) β€” β€œIf we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.”

One of the greatest blessings of salvation is that God does not merely forgive us and leave us at a distance. Through Jesus Christ, we are brought into the family of God and given the privilege of calling Him Father. We are no longer strangers to His love or separated from His promises. The Holy Spirit reminds us that we belong to God and are His children. A church led by the Spirit should live as a family, united by the same heavenly Father. Tonight, rest in the wonderful truth that if you belong to Christ, you have been adopted into the family of God.

πŸ“– Romans 8:15 (KJV) β€” β€œFor ye have not received the spirit of bo***ge again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.”

πŸ“– Ephesians 1:5 (KJV) β€” β€œHaving predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,”

One of the greatest demonstrations of God's grace is when we extend grace to someone else. People will disappoint us, hurt us, and sometimes fail to meet our expectations. Yet we must remember how patient and merciful God has been with us. Showing grace does not mean pretending that wrong is right, but it does mean responding with the spirit of Christ. A gracious heart chooses forgiveness over bitterness and compassion over condemnation. Tonight, ask God to help you show others the same grace that He has so freely given to you.

πŸ“– Ephesians 4:32 (KJV) β€” β€œAnd be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.”

πŸ“– 1 Peter 4:10 (KJV) β€” β€œAs every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.”

The power of grace does more than forgive our sins; it changes the way we live. When we truly understand what Christ has done for us, we should desire to live in a way that honors Him. Grace teaches us to turn away from sin and pursue a life that reflects the character of Christ. It also gives us the ability to show patience, kindness, and forgiveness to others. We cannot claim to appreciate God's grace while refusing to extend grace to the people around us. Let the grace you have received become visible in the way you speak, serve, forgive, and love.

πŸ“– Titus 2:11–12 (KJV) β€” β€œFor the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly.”

πŸ“– Colossians 3:13 (KJV) β€” β€œForbearing one another, and forgiving one another... even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.”
