Day 4: Fantastic day! Started the morning with a tour at the Black History museum then we took a guided tour this afternoon to Richmond Hill and stood on some incredible history. The dwelling for inslaved persons building was where the slaves were kept and working day and night. A lot of emotions in that room today. Also on this property are the auction blocks where recently a once 3 year old stood on it from being in the dwelling and then talked about her story. (Not today but that was told to us) The heart picture was found in the black gated picture recently which is a former nuns preserves. We ended the day at a local coffee shop and a pie company.

Day 3: started off at Shalom Farm where we mulched and helped harvest their fruits and vegetables. We tried some incredible herbs 🪴 for the afternoon we traveled to Richmond Hill and cleaned from top to bottom their dorm and ended with ICECREAM. What an amazing week so far ✝️

Day 1 & 2! Historial sites and working in the community! Served at Belmont in their clothing donation and food pantry to prepare items for those in the community that need these items. We led small group tonight, Tuesday! Games, fellowship and meeting other friends!
