University Baptist Church The Heart of Our Faith:
We Welcome. We Wonder. We Walk. We follow Jesus with a heart for every corner of Chapel Hill and beyond. We Walk forward in love.

We Welcome and affirm all people as beloved of God. We Wonder together engaging scripture & Spirit. Situated on the corner of Franklin and Columbia Streets in beautiful Chapel Hill, North Carolina beside The University of North Carolina, University Baptist Church (or UBC) is a wonderful place to worship God, learn new things, and fellowship. We are members of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship and employ a sort of "warm liturgy" in our worship. Our worship services are held every Sunday at 11am, with Sunday School (for all ages) held prior to that, at 9:45am. On Wednesday Nights during the school year, we typically meet at 5:15pm for "fellowship time", 6:00pm for various groups and studies, and at 6:30 for chancel choir rehearsal. Come and visit us and see what we're all about!

We've got Carolina on our mind and we're welcoming students back to UBC with our annual Student Sunday on August 23 at 11am. We'll host a luncheon in the Great Hall after worship and hear a few tunes from the UNC Clef Hangers! We hope to see you there!
