Unfortunately, the workshop and concert scheduled for tomorrow (Sat, June 13) is postponed due to a failure of the Sanctuary HVAC system and concern that the space will not be comfortable to welcome guests in the afternoon. We will share more information next week about plans to reschedule the concert, likely in the month of July.

This decision does not affect Sunday worship; please join us for worship on Sunday morning at our regular time.

Please help us share the news of the postponement with others you know who were planning to attend the workshop or concert!

Calling all nature buffs! We are excited to conduct our second round of stream monitoring in Booker Creek, directly behind UCCH, on Saturday, June 20, from 10am to 12pm. Volunteers of all ages can sign up for this hands-on adventure. Spots are limited, and children should bring an adult. The water and habitat quality data we collect benefits the Haw River Assembly's River Watch Program. See you in the creek!

Juneteenth Gospel Workshop & Concert

Join us on Saturday, June 13, for a joyful Juneteenth celebration filled with gospel music, African American spirituals, community, and song.

From 10am–3pm, participants will gather for rehearsals and workshops as a mass choir made up of UCCH ensembles and community singers—no church affiliation or prior participation required. Together, we’ll prepare four inspiring selections in a fun and welcoming environment, with a potluck style picnic for lunch (please bring a cold dish to share). The day will culminate in a 4pm concert featuring the mass choir, selections by the UCCH Chancel Choir, United Voices of Praise, and 100 Men in Black.

UCCH will also present 100 Men in Black with funds raised through the Negro Spirituals Royalties Project in support of their important work. We hope you will join us!

The 2025-26 Annual Report shows that the state of our church is strong! A copy of the Annual Report was linked in the Sunday email message, and some paper copies will be available at today's congregational meeting.

One important sign of a strong church is a congregation that is active and engaged in church leadership. We will soon be electing Church Council and individual board members. There are still a few vacancies. Will you volunteer to serve?
