FOCUS is the Graduate InterVarsity Christian Fellowship chapter at the UNC - Chapel Hill. We are a student-led and student-supported group that aims to provide a Christ-centered environment in which graduate and professional students can grow spiritually, develop intellectually, interact socially, and share their Christian faith with others.
To this end, we meet approximately every other Friday during the academic year for fellowship through food, worship, prayer, and Bible study. We also organize various social events, past examples include weekly on-campus discussion and prayer groups, service activities, and retreats. If any of these activities interest you, sign up for our listserv to receive the most up-to-date information on upcoming events.
Due to COVID-19, the next semester (and potentially longer) will look different than usual. We would still like to meet in person - but outdoors. We will also plan to incorporate virtual events as well. Stay tuned to hear more updates!
We also partner with another organization on campus called the North Carolina Study Center. Check out their website here: https://www.ncstudycenter.org
