Happy Sunday! This Tuesday was scheduled our last class. As I prepared looking through the last 2 chapters, I seen that it was mainly a recap of our other classes and not a lot to it so I decided to cancel, also many families are on vacation and also may be dealing with Vacation Bible Schools.
My 28th wedding anniversary is this week as well so we may plan a getaway.
I am very thankful for those that came and for those that I met. I’m looking forward to running into you ladies in town now 😊 I love living in a small town.
I’m also thankful for this study, if anything I know I implanted some Truths in me. The Enemy has worked harder than ever before to deceive so being armed and ready for the Truths in this study will completely knock Him off his game. Who wants to knock him off His game ? Me, me , me 🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️
I will work on recapping many Truths this week for those who many not have been able to attend.
Moving forward, I will be in prayer of what is to come next for this Bible Study Group. I respect that Summer is a busy season, enjoy lots of family time and make memories, possibly Fall will be another class. Feedback will be appreciated 😊

Tomorrow! This is going to be a great class!

I am very excited about next Tuesday June 13th, when I seen that the lessons about marriage and children fell on the same study, I reached out to my very special friend and mentor, Pam Denney to see if she would like to join us. She has taught many times from this book and has so much love and wisdom to offer women, that is her passion in life.
Her and her husband have pastored all over the US and currently reside in Nashville. They have been married for 30 years and raised 2 boys.
Pam has been such a blessing in my life, 10 years ago I was in a very desperate place and cried out to God asking him to put someone in my life to mentor myself and my family. God answered and gave me exactly what I needed and asked for. She has been a strong voice in my life, her husband has been a great mentor to my husband and her boys were exactly the influence of what my boys needed at that time.
I hope you join us Tuesday June 13th at 6:30, Henry Horton Park!

While studying for an upcoming class, a quote by John Piper really spoke to me. I flipped through more pages and kept coming back to read it over and over so I will share,
“We were made to know and treasure the glory of God above all things; and when we trade that treasure for images (idols), everything is disordered. The sun of God’s glory was made to shine at the center of the solar system of our soul. And when it does, all the planets of our life are held in their proper orbit. But when the sun is displaced, everything flies apart. The healing of the soul begins by restoring the glory of God to its flaming, all-attracting place at the center.”

Many had shown interest in the Bible Study when it began.
Keeping up with life and family is chaotic so I do understand if you have not been able to make it.
I did just want to let you know that you are still welcome if you have not made it to a class yet but were interested. No book is needed, I provide a study guide every class, and every class is a new topic so you won’t need to feel like you are behind.
We meet in the large A frame shelter near the playground.

The lie “If I feel something, it must be true”

Our feelings often have very little to do with reality. In many instances, feelings are simply not a reliable gauge of what is actually true. When we allow them to be tied to our circumstances-which are constantly changing-rather than to the unchangeable realities of God and His Truth, our emotions are prone to fluctuate wildly.

Digging into ”Lies Women Believe About Emotions” this week.
For me personally this is the chapter I looked forward to the most, this is the chapter I need to learn from right now in my time of life. Looking forward to discussing this chapter and also “Lies Women Believe about Circumstances”.

Next Tuesday May 30th is going to be a great class, we will be talking about emotions 😀😭 and circumstances.
If you are following along in the 📖you may see that the next chapters are marriage and children, we are going to skip ⏩ and do those lessons on June 13th, (ok that just blew my mind 🤯 typing that, time needs to slow down) please mark ✍🏼that date 📆 down, you do not want to miss that class, I have a very special lady coming to teach the lessons on marriage and children and you all will love her dearly and leave very inspired.

Seen this today and it reminded me of what we talked about yesterday in the “Priorities “ session.
The work we do at home has eternal value.
Even if culture does not validate the significance of our work within our homes, God values it.
