Congratulations to Fr. Alex Solsma who was ordained a priest of Jesus Christ on Saturday, June 6th at the Cathedral of St. Thomas More in Arlington! Fr. Solsma served at St. Tim’s last summer as a transitional deacon. He asked us to thank those that attended the ordination and/or first Mass, and those that prayed for him. Please keep him in your prayers as he begins his first assignment at St. Theresa in Ashburn on June 25th.

Our Second Tuesday event is 6/9 at 7:00 PM at the Marian Grotto behind the school. Join us to pray Vespers, the Evening Prayer of Liturgy of the Hours, at the Marian Grotto behind the school. Looking for a small group to grow in faith and friendship?
Join our weekly Bible Study! We host TWO bible study sessions. During each meeting, we cover the readings for the upcoming Sunday Mass.

The Monday night meeting is in the New Parish Hall (NPH) conference room, and the Wednesday night meeting is in the kitchen side of the NPH proper. These are both drop-in studies, so you are welcome to attend as frequently as you would like. In an effort to facilitate these studies given time limitations, we ask that you choose ONE (1) of the available times to attend. This will help us to mitigate overcrowding of the space available to us.

In June, we will read the final book of C.S. Lewis’s Space Trilogy, That Hideous Strength. THS can stand alone, so if you haven’t read the first two, don’t let that stop you from joining us! A standalone copy of THS can be found at The Paschal Lamb in Fairfax, or a bound set of the whole trilogy can be found on Amazon.

Our annual Memorial Day Picnic is Monday the 25th from 3:30-8:00 PM in the school cafeteria. We'll be grilling, chilling, and having a great time with friends. We will provide burgers and hot dogs. Please bring appetizers, entrees, desserts, and drinks! Feel free to bring games and sports equipment as well. This is a dry event, so please do not bring alcohol. We can’t wait to see you there!
